Capturing originality for that one-of-a-kind, unique sound.

Steven Strickland

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Steven started singing at the age of 6 in the Sunbeam Choir, the children's choir at his church St. Paul F.B.H. Church. There he would learn about God and living holy from the pastor, the Late Bishop Nathaniel Simmons. At age 13 he joined the adult choir ,The St. Paul Inspirational Choir. In 1994 The vision of the church changed and became St. Paul S.O.P.(Sounds of Praise) Pentecostal Fellowship Ministries, Inc. The choir then became The S.O.P. Chorale, under the direction of Natalie Wilson.

Steven would go on to travel across the country with GospoCentric Recording Artists and Stellar Award Nominees Natalie Wilson & SOP Chorale. In addition to recording 3 CD's (Not The Same, Girl Director, and Good Life) he had the pleasure of ministering in churches and on stages alongside Gospel greats such as Hezekiah Walker and LFT, Kirk Franklin, 1NC, Donald Lawrence, Ricky Dillard, Mary Mary, Kim Burrell, Orlando Draper(RIP), and Kayla Parker(RIP) to name a few.

Steven has finally begun to work on his own project entitled Lifestyles. At the beginning of 2016(literally) he recorded what would be, what he calls, his anthem for the year. The song Trusting You serves as reassurance to himself and God that he will do just in Him. Steven's goal with this project, is not necessarily to be an artist, but to put out music that comes from his heart that hopefully people will enjoy. He is a true believer that being a Christian shouldn't be a fad, but a lifestyle.

Steven is also and actor, director, and host. His phenomenal ability to captivate and mesmerize all audiences, lets everyone know that he is a star on the rise. His Motto is "DO WHAT YOU LOVLOVE WHAT YOU DO!"
